Crosby, a former player herself, started this franchise because of a deep passion for basketball as well as a passion to positively impact the life of others. Along with management of the Not-For-Profit, Crosby quickly made noise in the community in an attempt to increase awareness and support for the newly devised hometown franchise.

Crosby gave a statement on behalf of the new Jamestown franchise, “Although we are starting a brand new team in Jamestown, we have full intentions of making a statement in the PBL this year. We are honored to represent the Jamestown community not only on the basketball court, but also through community outreach and educational opportunities. ⛽️ Indianapolis Diesels

Based out of Indianapolis, Indiana, the Diesels made it to the PBL championship series in 2014 for the first time since joining the league in 2012. Formerly known as the Indiana Diesels, they originally played two season in Columbus, Indiana before outgrowing their facility due to their increasing large fan base.

In 2014, the Diesels were the Midwest Division champions after a strong 10-5 regular season run. They would come real close to winning the championship after dropping game one by a single point. Then in game two the Diesels would make an incredible run in the final 70 seconds of the game to come back and win after almost losing by double-digits. However, game three wouldn't have the same feeling and the Rochester Razorsharks would win the PBL Championship title.

The Diesels success wouldn't go unnoticed and three of their members were awarded for some of the league's highest honors during the 2014 season. Indianapolis coach, Aaron Hogg, was awarded the PBL's 2014 Coach of the Year. John Hart, a guard for the Diesels, would win the PBL 2014 Sixth Man of the Year award. Then last but not least, Rex Voils, owner of the Indianapolis Diesels, would be a co-winner of the Executive of the Year award.

First, he made a private appearance at a Carmel retirement home. Then he paired up with Gene Keady at the Indiana State Fairgrounds. And last month, he made political waves appearing with Donald Trump in Indiana.

Finally, legendary Indiana University basketball coach Bob Knight is going solo — for a public show —

The fiery coach, who led the Hoosiers to three national titles during an IU career that spanned from 1971-2000, will headline a show June 16 at the Murat Theatre at Old National Centre.

Tickets go on sale 10 a.m. Friday and cost $35, $45, $55 or $200.
The show will start with a meet-and-greet with the coach for 40 guests (the $200 tickets), who also will get signed photos. The public show will include a "motivational speech" by Knight on his coaching days and philosophy, followed by a question-and-answer session.

Oh, the many layers of Bob Knight

A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Victory Sports Education Program, which promotes the benefits of exercise, proper diet, physical fitness and wellness to encourage local Indianapolis area youth to lead a healthy lifestyle.
Tickets will be available at the Old National Centre box office, all Ticketmaster outlets,, or by phone at 1-800-745-3000.

On behalf of the City of Indianapolis, it is my pleasure welcome the Indianapolis Diesels, a minor league basketball team of the Premier Basketball League.

In addition to providing a great spectator sport and adding to the City’s rich sporting culture, the Indianapolis Diesels are committed to being a good community partner. I applaud their charitable foundation, Victory Sports Education Program (VSEP), which promotes the benefits of exercise, proper diet, physical fitness, and wellness to encourage local youth to lead a healthy lifestyle.

The VESP has adopted the 5-2-1-0 Everyday program which stresses better eating habits and more exercise as well as the No Bull project to address bullying with its consequences. I encourage schools to consider using these resources to enhance their own curricula. The well-being and success of our community depends on caring and engaged citizens and organizations.

I commend the Indianapolis Diesels for their dedication and service to their new home.
